The Wertheim-Cullen Vaginal Clamp offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to mobilize and statically hold ligaments and other heavy tissues during hysterectomy surgery, colporrhaphy and other procedures.
For this purpose, the instrument features wide angled jaws that help to manipulate ligaments with ease. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have longitudinal serrations for enhanced gripping. Also, the angled profile ensures exceptional surgical sightlines.
Moreover, the Wertheim-Cullen Vaginal Clamp features a boxlock joint to close the jaws with smooth movements. Additionally, the device includes a ratchet system to self-retain the jaws at different pressures.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
