The main part of the instrument is a long rod which ends in bulb. The diameter of the bulb is usually smaller than the rod to facilitate insertion with minimal discomfort. Our urethral sounds are available in different lengths and varying diameters and features such as the Rigid Van Buren Urethral sound which has a short thick rod wider at the base and is employed for dilatation of the urethra during transurethral procedures. The Filiform urethral sound is a flexible rod which is ideal for diagnostic procedures such as cystourethroscopy. All of our urethral sounds are manufactured adhering to current ISO standards and using premium quality stainless steel to ensure exceptional quality.

These Urethral sounds may be sterilized for years of repeated use.
