Product Description

Spherical Burrs are instruments widely used by neurosurgeons to make burr holes in skull. Burr holes are used to help relieve pressure on the brain when fluid, such as blood, builds up and starts to compress brain tissue. This instrument consists of a shank that can be attached to a drill hand piece and a spherical burr which is precisely serrated to ream through skull bone smoothly. The whole diameter of the spherical burr is 5.0 mm and it is also available in other diameters, such as 8.0 mm, 12.0 mm and 16.0 mm.
