Grasps mucous membranes, muscle tissue, tendons, intestinal walls, blood vessels as well as skin and sutures.
Especially includes fenestrated tips that help minimize damage to tissues. In addition, the instrument also has circular and horizontal serration which allow secure grip on tissues. The narrow profile of the tip also adds to the precision of the instrument.
Moreover, the handles also have large fenestrations that decrease the weight of the instrument and act as anchors for the surgeons hand. The operating forcep also includes serrations which give optimum control of instrument.
