The structure comprises of a rigid or flexible rod with a scoop at one end designed to trap and remove stones from tubular ducts. The surgeon introduces the scoop into the tubular duct and pulls out the stone to relive the obstruction. Our gall stone scoops come in different sizes and shapes to suit the needs of patients.The flexible Luer-Koerte Gall Stone scoop has a long malleable shaft which can easily reach narrow ducts and remove stones. The scoop is often used during cholangiopancreatography for removal of stones from the pancreatic duct.
