Conization knives are used for cold cervical conization. During this procedure, a surgeon makes a cone-shaped incision in the cervical tissue for diagnostic purposes (biopsy) or the purpose of removing the abnormally developed tissue (dysplasia, pre-cancerous cells, etc.)
