Product Description

The Eve Tonsil Snare is used to crush and cut the pedicle of the tonsil after it has been dissected. The snare can encircle the pedicle by passing the tonsil tissue through its open wire loop. Closing the loop adherently crushes the pedicle and releases a powerful vasoconstrictor known as thromboplastin. The snare has a long handle with three finger rings, a long slender shaft and an open cylindrical tip through which the wire loop is advanced. The distal ring is used by the thumb and the other two rings are used by the index and middle fingers. Advancing the thumb ring guarantees a secure closure of the wire loop over the tonsillar pedicle. The overall length of the snare is 28.5 cm, and we manufacture stainless steel snare wires which are 0.3 mm in diameter for your tonsillectomy procedures. Our snares are manufactured from the finest stainless steel materials, and are designed to ensure easy sterilization and a lasting service.
