Surtex Dental Aspirating Syringes are manufactured using high-quality brass with chrome plating for many years of reliable clinical service despite repeated autoclave sterilization cycles. Precise engineering means the anaesthetic carpule will align and properly engage with the plunger mechanism. The threaded needle attachment engages both metal- and plastic-hub aspirating needles (sold separately).

Our syringes are designed to allow the operator to check the position of the needle before depositing the anaesthetic solution. Once the needle is placed on the tissue the operator retracts the ring creating negative pressure. If the needle has penetrated the blood vessel, a thin line is drawn on the cartridge.

The operator then repositions the needle to avoid injecting the anaesthetic into the blood vessel and retests until there is evidence that the needle is not placed into the blood vessel.

Our syringes are ergonomically designed to provide comfort and reduce stress on the operator’s hands while aspirating. Whether you prefer the syringe grip to be a Basic Ring-Style, a Cook Waite design, or a Tee Handle, Surtex has the right syringe to deliver a successful anaesthetic injection every time.
