For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of straight jaws that provide great access to the surgical field. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have micro-serrations that reduce the injuries on the vessel’s endothelium.
Moreover, the Cooley Atrauma Multipurpose Vascular Clamps (Large Pattern) is available in 68 and 75mm working en sizes. As a result, surgeons can choose between patterns to manipulate differently sized vessels.
Also, these clamps have a ratchet system supplied with multiple teeth to control the clamping pressure. Therefore, the operator can achieve an excellent self-retaining action that sets their hands free.
