Clip Applying Forceps is a surgical instrument used for applying or removing clips during surgery. The blades of the forceps are usually straight with high quality serrations on the inner surface. Clip applying forceps are available in the Surtex Instruments range with and without locks/ratchets. At the end of surgical procedures, the edges of the wound are approximated and suture clips are applied for wound closure or to stop bleeding. Clip applying forceps are used alongside with clips to achieve homeostasis at the edges of surgical flaps. Such clipping prevents bleeding from certain regions of the operated skin.  After wound healing, clip applying forceps is used to remove suture clips. It is commonly utilized for routine and outpatient minor surgical procedures. Furthermore, clip applying forceps are used for applying and removing vessel clips during vascular surgery operations.The Surtex Instruments range consistsof the expertly crafted Biemer clip applying forceps available with and without a lock and the standard clip applying forceps available with and without a ratchet.
