The flat feature and serrated surface ensures minimal trauma to the bladder wall and surrounding tissue during the procedure. The Capsule forceps can also be used during abdominal surgeries including exploratory laparotomy to secure and slide the peritoneal membranes for optimum organ exposure. Our capsule forceps are available in different sizes to provide varying grips according to the anatomical requirements of the patient and surgeon, for instance the commonly used Millin Atrauma capsule forceps with wide T-blades for grasping and maneuvering the bladder wall to ensure minimal soft tissue trauma. The Millin capsule forceps are shorter with a smaller T-blade for grasping the peritoneal layers or the abdominal coverings during abdominal surgery including transurethral prostatectomy, transurethral bladder resection and exploratory laparotomy.
