SURTEX® Bier Amputation Saws assist doctors to treat bone diseases. Surgeons use them to cut parts of bones when they repair fractures caused by trauma or infections. In addition, they help perform amputations to treat limb gangrenes.

Surgeons use the handle to place and stabilize the blade on the diseased tissues. Therefore, we designed the handle with a bulky frame to enhance your grip and dexterity. Moreover, the handle curve increases your comfort and prevents hand slips.

We made the sharp blade in order to make efficient cuts of bones and fibrous tissues. In addition, the screw on the frame allows you to fix the blade in place in order to prevent damage to surrounding structures. The blade has a long serrated edge to prevent it from slipping from the tissues.

The SURTEX® Bier Amputation Saw is 40.5 cm cm long and has a slender profile in order for you to see the blade’s position directly. In addition, we designed other saws for your convenience, like Charriere Amputation Saws. You can use these tools to customize your approach for the needs of every patient.

SURTEX® Instruments manufacture these devices from premium grade stainless steel that you can depend on for years of fine service.
